Jim is a skilled negotiator who often wins out in multiple offer bidding wars. He accepts clients at all price ranges, works to earn their trust, and treats everyone with the same level of respect. He prides himself on being a patient and kind person who cares about every client’s best interest.

A Home Renovation Expert
As a bonus for his clients, Jim has 20+ years of home renovation experience and operated a flipping business for several years. He has personally completed home improvement projects from the ground up -- literally. From basement foundations, electrical, plumbing, room additions, landscaping/hardscaping, and siding … all the way up to the shingles on the roof.
Jim’s expertise in this area is invaluable to prospective buyers and sellers.
​ Jim advises sellers on needed home repairs, and provides trusted professional referrals when needed to complete the work. He makes home staging recommendations and produces high quality photos and listings that earn sellers top dollar for their homes.
When showing homes that are for sale, Jim thoroughly checks the property for potential problems to ensure the property you are viewing is structurally sound. He attends all home inspections and personally reviews the results with buyers, educating on “deal breaker” issues vs. simple and inexpensive repairs.

Background
Jim retired in April 2017 from a 30-year career as a Registered Nurse, where he worked his way up from staff RN to hospital supervisor. He is also a proud Navy Veteran who served in the Gulf War and was decorated with three medals and six ribbons.
Jim was born and spent most of his childhood in Colorado before moving to Westerville, Ohio in middle-school. After graduating high school, he entered the Navy and lived in San Diego, CA for nearly 20 years. But Jim always yearned to return to the Midwest and was a Buckeye at heart. He moved back to Westerville in 2004 and started a blended family that is still together today.
Jim serves the community as an active Board Member of both the Far North Columbus Communities Coalition and the Columbus Board of Realtors Affordable Housing Committee.
